How was it?

We had the most amazing time exploring the topic of Intuition led by Lisa Campion and learned how to connect deeper to our own brand of listening, sensing or seeing signs meant to help us in our lives.

We went on a guided visualization led by Luella Earley and met our spirit guides face to face! Wow, that was quite something.

We had a fireside ceremony led by Melanie Holden where we removed the roadblocks that get in the way of our connecting to our intuition.

We ate, we laughed, we were moved beyond words, we each clearly saw our path and rejoiced, and of course there was chocolate!

Our summer retreat is one of our signature events. Consider coming next July 8-9, 2010!

My attempt at a vacation

I have been looking forward to my summer vacation for months. Like many of us, I really needed a break from my work, my office, my phone and my email. I made an agreement with myself and my husband that I was going to completely shut down and off for 10 days. I was excited at the prospect of time off. Maybe I would read, exercise more, smell the roses, sit by the water...who knows what might happen when a girl is taking some well deserved time off. It started off great. We got to our cottage on the lake and I settled in to what I imagined would be a respite from my busy life. After day 4, I couldn't take the silence of not having any contact with the outside world. What if a client needed something and I was the only one who could respond appropriately? What if someone was trying to reach me? It did not seem to matter that my voicemail and email had out of office messages on them. Sadly, I only lasted 4 days before checking email. Geez, how sad is that?! Looks like I have work to do on myself so I can shut it all off and feel perfectly fine about it. Maybe next year I'll go someplace without internet access!

In addition to my corporate work, I find myself asking the question, "Is this enough? Could I be doing something more with my gifts and talents?" And over the last few years I notice I am being drawn to expand my work beyond corporate leaders and corporations. Not an entirely new focus but a new expression. In some ways it feels like I am being called like a huge universal magnet to help others also answer the question, "What's next for me?" Thus the birth of The Magic Parties; a community of women who gather to birth themselves in a new way. A way they have forgotten. A journey into themselves and into wholeness.

And speaking to many women since starting my own journey, I notice how many of us are feeling a whole new kind of spiritual awareness awakening inside of us. For some of us, it is too embryonic to describe with any real clarity yet. But it is there. And we feel it. And for some of us, we know what it is and are sorting through how to express it and fit it into our lives. And for some of us who are living in our full gifts, we are sorting through all the possibilities for expression that are ahead of us in our journey.

A circle of women. A place to come to where we can learn, be witnessed, be connected and supported by other women on the same path. A place where we can remember who we really are; a place where we can listen to the deep source of wisdom within ourselves.

Do you sometimes feel like you are being called forth? Do you sometimes feel like God, Your Spirit Guides, Your Angels, The Goddess, The Universe is whispering your name to come forth? Do you have a yearning for something that has not happened yet but you can feel it? Taste it? And imagine it, sometimes even in detail?

The Magic Parties is an organization for women with what we like to call a spiritual center. We are a growing network of women who want to live our best lives and have our dreams come true. We offer tools, programs, resources, and a place where, together, we can figure out what's next for you...and your real life path can be born. Life paths can be spiritual, personal, or something of a career nature. But whatever your path is...it is magical...Because together we are helping you journey into wholeness and live your best life!

We are open to any woman who is yearning to wake up and re-ignite her own journey, her own magic, and her own spirit within the safety and quiet of a circle of women. The world is calling for you to come forward. And know that your unique touch of magic will forever change the world.
